Louise Green

Founder of SITA

Educator, Author, Influencer, Trainer

Louise Green is a celebrated Author, Influencer and Award-Winning Fitness Trainer who has been changing the narrative of our fitness culture since 2007.  She is the author of the books, Big Fit Girl and Fitness for Everyone, with a third book, The Fitness Myth, in the wings.

 

Green is a Master Trainer, banking over 30,000 training hours specializing in fitness for larger bodies.

 

Louise is the Founder of Big Fit Girl, now a brand, a fitness App, a published book and a monthly column at SELF Magazine – her work has impacted thousands of people from around the globe.  Louise also established the Size Inclusive Fitness Academy after realizing there was a gap in education for trainers and how it was impacting accessibility for larger bodied clients.  Louise is now and ACE Education Partner and offers Size Inclusive education to wellness professionals and brands on the importance of accessible fitness for all.

 

Louise regularly lends her expertise to the media and has partnered with many National brand campaigns helping hone the messaging that fitness has no size, most recently featured by Reitmans, Sport Chek, Mattel-Barbie and Muscle Milk (Pepsi Corp.)

 

Louise was acknowledged by Impact Magazine as one of Canada's Top Trainers, named in the Top100 Health & Fitness Influencers by Optimyz Magazine and named one of Self Magazine's top trainers to follow.

 

Her days consist of coaching women to unleash their inner athlete at every size and working diligently to change our fitness culture through education and size inclusive leadership. Green tenaciously works towards making ‘Fitness for Everyone’ a daily reality.

Brit Guerin

Size Inclusive Fitness Specialist, Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCMHCA)

Brit has an extensive background in fitness, fitness education, leadership and mentoring. She has a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, is a certified ACSM Exercise Physiologist and an Applied Health and Human Performance Specialist through the Institute of Motion. Working as a Fitness Coordinator for NC State University and National Presenter for NETA, she travelled and trained fitness professionals for six years. As co-founder and owner of Current Wellness, she created several classes at Current Wellness in order to offer a fitness experience that empowers individuals to listen to their body, while also being inclusive to folks in larger bodies.

 

Brit is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LHMHCA) specializing in working with folks who are experiencing anxiety, relationship issues, disordered eating, disordered exercise, and trauma. She uses a Health at Every Size® approach, a somatic lens, and the principles of intuitive eating to help clients create a healthy relationship with their body, food, and exercise. She is trained in Embodied Recovery for eating disorders, as well as EMDR for trauma-focused therapy.
